Hello Lions Head South… Here is your pool construction update from the Board of Trustees...

This is what has transpired during the week ending August 16th...

As you may already know, the pool water failed testing last week for water quality due to coliform

bacteria. The heavy rains we experienced were a contributing factor, but it subsequently came to our attention that the well that supplies the pool water was contaminated. That well has now been sanitized and repaired and our pool water testing company, Henderson Labs, has reported an all clear for both the pool water and the well.

We are still waiting, however, for the balance of permits, including the electrical inspection, from Brick Township. Once they are received, we anticipate a final on-site inspection early this week. We will be able to open the pool once we pass that final on-site inspection.

Our Administrator and our Board of Trustees, especially Tom Behrans, have been working diligently toward finally getting our pool open. As has been said before, no one wants this pool to be open for our residents and their guests to enjoy more than we do, believe me. We again thank those of you

who have understood and have had patience with the many ongoing hurdles that have presented themselves during this incredibly trying process, and we look forward to announcing an opening as soon as possible.
