ROBOCALL - 10-23-22


From the Nominating Committee: A reminder to please return the completed ballots for the Board of Trustees election by mail or place them in the secure ballot box located in the clubhouse. The ballot box will be available from 9am until 2pm, Monday through Friday. Ballots must be received no later than 12 noon on November 7th.



From the WGA: Tickets, at $10 each, will be sold tomorrow morning, for a bingo event to be held on Friday, November 4th. Doors open at 6PM and games start at 7PM. Snacks and dessert will be served.

Also from the WGA: The annual holiday and awards luncheon will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at 12Noon at the Grenville in Bayhead. Tickets for WGA members and their guests will be sold on Mondays or through Marcene Talty.


From Don Antonelli: Tickets for Night at the Races on November 12th are still available and will be sold tomorrow morning. Tickets are $37 each and include a beefsteak dinner,

Also from Don Antonelli: Reservations will begin tomorrow morning for the Men’s Club holiday party at the American Legion in Toms River on December 13th. Club members are free but must register. Guest tickets are $55. Members can also register at the next Men’s Club meeting. Also, Mega 50-50 raffle tickets continue to be sold.


From the Travel Committee: Tickets at $60 each will be sold tomorrow morning for the December 6th show, White Christmas, at the Surflight Theater. The price includes the show and lunch at the Waterfront. Transportation is not included. If anyone who interested in going and needs a gluten free meal, please contact Dee Kropniewicki.




From Lucy Hubert: The movie, “Senior Moment”, starring William Shatner and Jean Smart, will be shown on Sunday, October 30th at 2PM in the Lions Den. It is a comedy about seniors and the daily happenings and crises they face in the Golden Years.





From the Garden Club: A presentation titled “Save the Monarchs” will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 2PM in the Lions Den, with a speaker from the Ocean County Master Gardeners. Refreshments will be served. This event is open to all residents but you must register by November 1st on the Garden Club bulletin board.




From Kathy Fagan: In keeping with our 40th Anniversary Celebrations, a collection of previous LHS productions on tape from years ago will be shown on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Lions Den. The tapes of these talented group of entertainers have been put together on video for your viewing. Coffee and cake will be provided. Please call Kathy if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!



From Dee Kropniewicki: An interest sheet is posted on the bulletin board for Zumba, to begin in January 2023. Classes will be held on Mondays from 11am-12pm and the cost is $5 per session.
