From the Board of Trustees: A reminder that there will be a residents meeting tomorrow evening in the clubhouse at 7PM. Please note that there will not be a candidates forum for those running for the Board of Trustees, as the current incumbents are running unopposed.

From Bob Pedersen: Tickets at $10 each will continue to be sold tomorrow morning for the Men’s Club Bagels and Bingo. Doors will open on Saturday morning, October 14th at 9:30 and bingo will start at 10:30. Tickets will also be sold tomorrow morning for the 2023 Mega 50/50 raffle.

From Lee Bruzaitis: Tickets at $10 each will be sold tomorrow morning for the Social Committee’s Halloween party on Saturday, October 28th at 7PM. Get more details on the website or in the Pride.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie “News of the World”, starring Tom Hanks will be shown on Sunday, October 15th at 2pm in the Lions Den. This will be the last CD from Netflix. If anyone owns a CD that they would like to loan us to show, please contact Lucy.

From Phil DeCarlo: A reminder that the golf course will be closed tomorrow and Tuesday for fall maintenance. Beginning Wednesday, and through the fall and winter months, the course will open at 9am.

From Pat Gail: The WGA will be hosting “Pink Day” on Saturday, October 21st at 9am. The donation for this event is $15, and includes a light breakfast and lunch. You may golf or walk. All proceeds benefit Mary’s Place by the Sea. Completed registration forms and checks are due no later than October 16th.

From Lynn Adams: It’s not too late to join in on the fun with Recreation Committee’s Game Night Clinic on Tuesday, November 28th at 6:30pm in the Lions Den. This is a BYOB event and refreshments will be served. Confirmation of the event will be based on demand so please sign up on the bulletin board in the clubhouse by October 31st.

Thank you for listening, everyone. Please note that trash and recycle collections will be delayed by one day this week due to the Columbus Day holiday. We hope to see you at tomorrow evening’s residents meeting and, as always, have a very pleasant evening.
