Please remember that all ticket sales are from 9:30-11:00.

First, a very important message from the Board of Trustees: Please note that the ACC meeting on November 14th will be held in the evening at 7PM, not in the afternoon as stated on the calendar in the Lions Pride. This is an important meeting since information concerning the proposed pool will be discussed. Please mark your calendar now and plan to attend.

From the Nominating Committee: The deadline for returning your completed ballot for the Board of Trustees election is tomorrow at 12 Noon. Please place your completed ballot in the secure ballot box located in the clubhouse by that time.

From the Circle of Friends Committee: St. Martha’s Church will be preparing hot Thanksgiving meals for the homebound. If you are interested, please contact Greg Sternberg at 908-309-6268 and leave a message. The deadline for participation is November 18th. Greg and the Circle of Friends members will be distributing the meals.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie “Let Him Go”, rated 5 stars from Netflix and starring Kevin Kostner and Diane Lane, will be shown on November 13th. The movie “Elvis” will be shown on November 27th. Each movie will be shown at 2PM in the Lions Den.

From Clara Ciuffo-Clarke: The Women’s Club reminds any member who has had a change in their telephone number to please let Clara know as soon as possible so your attendance at meetings can be confirmed and lunches can be planned accordingly. Big surprises are in store for our November 16th meeting so be sure to attend.

From Don Antonelli: Tickets for Night at the Races on November 12th will continue to be sold tomorrow morning at $37 each, including a beefsteak dinner. Doors open at 5:30. Dinner will be served at 6:00. Also, registration will continue tomorrow morning for the Men’s Club holiday party on December 13th. Club members are free. All others are $55. And last, Mega 50-50 raffle tickets continue to be sold at $5.00 each. The drawing will take place in the first week of December.

From the WGA: The annual holiday and awards luncheon will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at 12Noon at the Grenville in Bayhead. Tickets for WGA members and their guests will be sold on Mondays or through Marcene Talty.

From the Travel Committee: Tomorrow morning is the final Monday to purchase your $60 ticket to the December 6th show, White Christmas, at the Surflight Theater. Tickets will be available for purchase after tomorrow and until November 18th by calling Dee Kropniewicki.

From Kathy Fagan: Our 40th Anniversary Celebration continues with a collection of Lions Head South productions from years ago that have been put on video and will be shown on Sunday, November 20th at 2PM in the Lions Den. Coffee and cake will be provided.

Lastly, we hope you remembered to set your clocks back one hour last night, and we remind you that trash and recycle pickup will be delayed by one day this week due to Election Day on Tuesday.
