From the Board of Trustees: Distribution of Maintenance coupons and envelopes will take place in the clubhouse library from 10-11am on the following dates: Tuesday, December 6th, Wednesday, December 7th, Friday, December 9th, Saturday, December 10th, Tuesday, December 13th, and Friday, December 16th. Also, due to the increased number of cases of both flu and covid, the conference room will now be limited to a maximum of 6 people for any meeting. If your committee will have more than 6 people in attendance, please make special arrangements with Karen in the office for an appropriate meeting space. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this requirement. Also, a very important reminder about the residents meeting tomorrow, during which the 2023 budget will be presented. It will be helpful to bring the budget pages from the December Lions Pride for reference.

From Bob Mathiasen: Both the Architectural and the Buildings and Grounds meetings are cancelled this week.

From Don Antonelli: Tickets for the Mega 50/50 raffle, at $5 each, will be sold tomorrow morning in the clubhouse. The drawing will take place tomorrow night at the residents meeting. Also, this is the last call for tickets for the December 13th Men’s Club Holiday Party. Members are free. All others are $55. And last, there will be a Men’s Club meeting on December 7th at 11:30am. Lunch will be served.

From the Social Committee: Our annual Holiday Parade will take place this Saturday, December 10th at 6PM. The parade will leave the clubhouse parking lot, circle Lions Head Blvd South, and then head north to Ashford and Yorkwood Drives before returning to the clubhouse. Come out and have some fun! If you would like to join the parade or for more information, contact Maureen Benesch at 848-333-8327.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie “Just Like Heaven”, a four star romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo will be shown on Sunday, December 11th at 2PM in the Lions Den.

From Clara Ciuffo-Clarke: Tickets are still available to Women’s Club members for our Holiday Luncheon at Villa Vittoria in Brick on December 14th at 12 noon, with a choice of four entrees. Tickets are $45. Please Call Marie Castellano at 732-279-6098 to pay for and pick up your tickets, or for more information.

From the Recreation Committee: A New Year’s Eve celebration is planned on December 31st from 8PM-1AM. It will be a BYOB event and you are welcome to bring any appetizers you would like to share with your table. Please see the sign-up sheet posted in the clubhouse. Let’s ring out the old with a bang and party like it’s 1999! Dancing and laughter is a must!
