Hello Lions Head South… Here are your messages for this week… Please remember that all ticket sales are from 9:30-11:00 in the clubhouse…

From the Administrator’s Office: Calls continue to be received at the office regarding pet waste and cigarette butts. Once again, you are reminded to please pick up after your pets and to discard your cigarette butts properly. Please note that offenders will be fined when identified.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie, “Where the Crawfish Sing”, will be shown on Sunday, March 12th at 2PM in the Lions Den. The story follows the book of the same title, a favorite among our book club readers.

From Iris Mahoney: Sign up for outdoor shuffleboard will continue tomorrow morning, March 6th, and on March 13th and 20th in the clubhouse from 9:30-11am. Play will begin on Wednesday, April 19th. The donation to play is $10.00.

From the Women’s Club: Tickets will continue to be sold tomorrow morning for a community bingo event to be held on March 15th. Tickets are $10 and include lunch and a bingo card. Please call Marie Castellano with any questions. Also from the Women’s Club, please remember to bring non-perishable food items and pet food for the twice yearly major food drive, being held between March 1st and 15th. Items may be placed in the bins in the coat closet.

From the Men’s Club: Tickets, at $5 each, will begin being sold tomorrow morning for the 2023 Mega 50/50 Raffle. The raffle has a potential first prize of $2000.

From Lee Bruzaitis: Tickets will continue to be sold tomorrow morning and on March 13th for the Social Committee’s Potluck International Tasting Night on Saturday, March 18th from 6-10pm. Tickets are $6 each and you are asked to bring a favorite ethnic dish to share. See the Lions Head South website for more details.

From Dee Kropnewiecki: The Travel Committee will continue to sell tickets tomorrow morning, as well as March 13th, for the April 6th Atlantic City bus trip to the Tropicana. Tickets are $35, with a $20 cash play return. A $2 gratuity for the bus driver will be collected before boarding. Also from the Travel Committee, an interest sheet will be posted this week for a luncheon cruise on the River Lady in August.

Also from Dee Kropnewiecki: A reminder that Zumba class will be held tomorrow morning at 11am in the Lions Den.
