Hello Lions Head South… Here are your messages for this week… Please remember that all ticket sales are from 9:30-11:00 in the clubhouse…

From the Administrator’s Office: The Clubhouse restrooms will be painted on Thursday, April 13th. Therefore, the restrooms will be closed all day. A “No Access” sign will be placed on the doors. (Repeat on April 8th)

From Bob Pedersen: The Men’s Club will be holding a pizza and bingo event on Friday, April 21st at 6PM. Tickets are $10 and will be sold tomorrow morning and also on Saturday mornings from 10-11am. This event is open to all. Also, tickets, at $5 each, will continue to be sold tomorrow morning for the 2023 Mega 50/50 Raffle, which has a potential first prize of $2000.

From Sue Wiss : Tickets at $20 each will continue to be sold tomorrow morning for the Women’s Golf Association tee-off luncheon on Wednesday, April 26th at 12 noon in the Lions Den. All WGA members and their guests are welcome to attend.

From Lee Bruzaitis: Tickets at $37 each will be sold tomorrow morning for the next social event, Prom Night, to be held on Saturday, April 29th from 6-10pm. Ticket price includes a buffet dinner, dessert and a DJ for dancing. Please bring a prom or high school photo of yourself to the ticket sale if possible. From Carol Powell: All articles for the May edition of the Lions Pride are due no later than Wednesday, April 5th. Please send articles to lionspridepub@lionsheadsouth.com. Call Carol with any questions or problems.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie, Return to Me, starring David Duchovny and Minnie Driver, will be shown on Sunday, April 16th in the Lions Den at 2PM. It is a poignant story of sudden loss and subsequent love, so keep the tissues handy!

From Lin Adams: Calling all LHS Bocce Ball Players! Sign up for the 2023 season will be held tomorrow morning and again on April 10th in the clubhouse between 9:30-11:00am. Game play is scheduled to begin on Tuesday evenings in early May and end in late August. Beginners, don’t be shy. Come join the fun!

From Dee Kropnewiecki: Please arrive for the Atlantic City Bus trip on Thursday, April 6th by 9:30am to check in and board the bus, which will leave by 9:45. No additional money will be collected for the driver’s tip. Also, there is an interest sheet posted in the clubhouse for the AUGUST 10th trip for the River Lady luncheon cruise, and also an interest sheet for the December 12th and 13th trip to Lancaster, PA. All information is posted on the clubhouse bulletin board and on the Lions Head South website. Please sign up if interested.
