ROBOCALL -- 4/9/23
Hello Lions Head South… Here are your messages for this week… Please remember that all ticket sales are from 9:30-11:00…
From the Administrator’s Office: The 2023 resident directories are available for pick-up in the office during normal business hours. Each household is entitled to one directory, and you may also pick one up for a housebound neighbor. Also, as a reminder, the Clubhouse restrooms will be painted on Thursday, April 13th and will therefore be closed all day.
From Marge Kennedy: Tickets for the Country Club free membership raffle and 20/20 tickets will be sold tomorrow morning in the clubhouse.
From Bob Pedersen: The Men’s Club will be holding a pizza and bingo event on Friday, April 21st at 6PM. Tickets are $10 and will be sold tomorrow morning and also on Saturday mornings from 10-11am. Also, tickets, at $5 each, will continue to be sold tomorrow morning for the 2023 Mega 50/50 Raffle.
From Sue Wiss : Tickets at $20 each will continue to be sold tomorrow morning for the Women’s Golf Association tee-off luncheon on Wednesday, April 26th at 12 noon in the Lions Den. All WGA members and their guests are welcome to attend.
From Lee Bruzaitis: Tickets at $37 each will be sold tomorrow morning for Prom Night, to be held on Saturday, April 29th from 6-10pm. Please bring a prom or high school photo of yourself to the ticket sale if possible. See the website or the April Lions Pride for more information.
From Greg Sternburg: There will be sign-ups tomorrow morning from 9:30-11:00 for substitute bocce players only.
From Dee Kropiewnicki: The Travel Committee will be collecting a $25 deposit tomorrow morning for transportation to and from Newark Airport for the upcoming September 12th-24th cruise. This applies even if you are only traveling one way and it is non-refundable. Please pay in cash or check made out to Dee, as the deposit will be on her credit card.
From Lynn Adams: Our tennis/pickleball courts are in the process of being cleaned and updated. The courts will be closed during this process. Also, entry to the courts requires a combination number, which can be obtained from the office during regular business hours. Please remember to lock the gate when you leave. Most importantly, remember that changes and/or modifications to the court property are strictly prohibited.
From Deb Rodgers: There will be a speaker from the Elks Club at tomorrow night’s residents meeting. Martin Crerand will provide information on what the Elks do to help communities, including Lions Head South.
From Lucy Hubert: The movie, Return to Me, starring David Duchovny and Minnie Driver, will be shown on Sunday, April 16th in the Lions Den at 2PM.
Thank you for listening, everyone. We wish all of our residents the blessings of the season and, as always, have a very pleasant evening.
