From Deb Rodgers : The Community Awareness Committee will be taking names and payments for the AARP Defense Driving Course tomorrow morning. The fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. Please bring your check with you, payable to AARP. Members are asked to include your membership number on your check. The course will be held on Wednesday, August 16th from 8:30AM-3:30PM in the Lions Den. Doors open at 8am for sign in and continental breakfast. There is a limit of 25 participants for this event.

From Dee Kropiewnicki: Collection for the River Lady Luncheon closed yesterday, July 1st, and there will be no refunds. Dee is currently collecting money for the bus transportation to Newark Airport for the September cruise, which is due by July 17th. Also, seats are still available for the trip to Lancaster in December. If you are interested in this trip, please contact Karen at Stout Tours. Her phone number is 732-657-1144.

Also from Dee: There will be a Zumba class tomorrow. The schedule for the month of July is on the Recreation bulletin board.

From Bob Pedersen: Tickets at $5 each will continue to be sold for the 2023 Mega 50/50 Raffle.

From the Lions Pride: Articles for the August edition of the Pride are due to the Pride’s email address no later than tomorrow, July 3rd.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, starring Toms Hanks and Sandra Bullock, will be shown on Sunday, July 9th at 2PM. This movie has a 4-star Netflix rating.
