From Marie Thomas: Tomorrow morning is the final day to buy tickets at $5 each for the Hawaiian themed BBQ pool party to be held on Sunday, August 28th. This is a rain or shine event, and there will be indoor and outdoor seating available. This event is for residents only and only residents will be allowed to use the pool that day. Please note that whether a resident has purchased a ticket for the BBQ or not, the pool will be open to all Lions Head South residents.

From Don Antonelli: Replacement tickets for the rained out August 5th Blue Claws game will be available at the clubhouse tomorrow morning. The new date is September 7th. Please bring the original ticket with you. Any inquiries, contact Joe Bill. Mega 50/50 raffle tickets at $5 each will also be sold.

From Dee Kropnewieki: The Travel Committee will be selling tickets tomorrow morning for a trip to the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City on September 30th. Tickets are $30, with $18 in slot play. The committee will also be collecting a $50 deposit per person for the Royal Caribbean cruise to Italy and Greece on Sept 15, 2023.

From Jim Mort: The LHCC will be selling tickets tomorrow morning for a Magic and Comedy Show to be held on Saturday, August 20th. The two hour show will consist of two fun-filled acts. Showtime is 7:00PM and the event is a BYOB. You may also bring your own snacks. Dessert, coffee and tea will be provided. Ticket cost is $30 per person.

From Barry Strothmann: Starting September 13th, a Tuesday night bowling group at Ocean Lanes will begin at 6PM. There will be 3 people to a team. It is 100% handicapped so no bowling knowledge is needed. The cost is $15 per night. Call Barry at 201-693-8759 for more details.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie “Playing for Keeps” will be shown in the Lions Den on Sunday, August 21st at 2PM. It is a four star comedy starring Gerard Butler, Jessica Beal and several other of your favorite stars.

From Clara Ciuffo-Clarke: The Lions Head South Women’s Club will be meeting this Wednesday, August 17th at 12 noon in the Lions Den. Please bring your own lunch. Dessert, coffee and tea will be provided or you may bring your own beverage. Please remember to bring donations of food and/or pet food for the needy.

From Roberta Marvel: The Social Committee will be sponsoring a Lions Head South Nightclub event on Saturday, October 22nd, featuring a 3 hour program of music from our favorite artists, including a full hour of Elvis songs, presented in full costume. The $38 ticket will include a full buffet dinner, and sales are limited to the first 100 people. Tickets will begin being sold on September 19th.
