From the Board of Trustees: A reminder once again that the restrooms are not a changing area. Puddles of pool water are causing slips and potential falls. Please do not go into the restrooms with dripping bathing suits or to change into dry clothing.

From the Editors of the Lions Pride: Articles for the October edition of the Pride are due by September 2nd, due to the Labor Day Holiday. The Pride’s email address will be changed shortly and contributors will be notified of the new email address before that time.

From Dee Kropniewicki: The Travel Committee will be selling tickets tomorrow morning in the clubhouse from 9:30-11:00 for a trip to the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City on September 30th. The cost is $30 with $18 in slot play. Information about the Royal Caribbean cruise will also be available..

From Don Antonelli: Mega 50/50 raffle tickets at $5 each will continue to be sold tomorrow morning in the clubhouse from 9:30-11:00. The jackpot is growing! There are also a few tickets left for the September 7th Blue Claws game on the party deck. Tickets are $40 each and include a buffet dinner. Contact Joe Bill for more information.

From Clara Ciuffo-Clarke: The Women’s Club will be taking orders and payments in the clubhouse for our beautiful mums every Monday and Saturday morning for the months of August and September until September 12th. The cost is $7 per plant. Please contact Clara or Carol Powell with any questions.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie “Megan Levey” will be shown on Sunday, September 4th at 2PM in the Lions Den. It is the true story of an American Soldier and her canine partner in Afghanistan. Megan manages to train an incorrigible dog to be a highly successful bomb sniffer. It is a beautiful story of bravery and loyalty.

From Roberta Marvel: The Social Committee is pleased to announce the first Lions Head South Night Club event, to be held on October 22nd. Included in the $38 ticket will be a full buffet dinner and a 3 hour program of music from our favorite artists, including Sinatra and Elvis… in full costume! Tickets sales will begin on September 19th and only 100 tickets will be sold. You will not want to miss this exciting event!
