ROBOCALL - 9-18-22

From the Board of Trustees: Due to the start up of our office computer conversion, there may be a delay in the cashing of some of the maintenance checks. Please do not be concerned if it takes longer for your check to clear. We will update you if there are additional issues.

Also from the Board of Trustees: Last year’s beige pool chairs and chaise lounges will be given away to residents only on Thursday, September 23rd on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested, come to the shed in the RV lot between 4-6PM and be prepared to take the furniture with you at that time.

From Clara Ciuffo-Clarke: Mums will be available for pick-up tomorrow, September 19th between 3-6PM. Please follow the drive-in instructions in the fitness center parking lot to avoid confusion, or park in the regular lot and walk over. Please check in at the table and you will be assisted. Also, if any men are available at 1:00 to help unload and sort the mums, please just show up to help us out. Thank you.

From Jim Mort: The Brian Halm Golf Tournament, luncheon and gift auction will be held on September 24th. Room is still available for golfers. The WGA will be hosting a luncheon and gift auction following the tournament. All residents are welcome to attend, and are invited to purchase tickets on Friday, September 23rd from 4-7PM at the LHCC or for the auction only on the day of the event.

From Lee Scaturro: The Women’s Golf Association is sponsoring a cancer walk on October 1st and we need your support. Registration fee to walk is $10. All other donations will also be greatly appreciated. You can donate on Monday mornings at the clubhouse between 9:30-11:00, on the Pulse or on our website. Donations can also be dropped off at the LHCC anytime. Please make checks payable to the American Cancer Society.

From Lucy Hubert: The movie, “The Secret: Dare to Dream,” starring Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas will be shown on Sunday, September 25th at 2PM in the Lions Den. It is an interesting romantic story, but with a secret that affects their growing affection.

From Roberta Marvel: The Social Committee will hold a Lions Head South Night Club event, to be held on October 22nd. Included in the $38 ticket will be a full buffet dinner and a 3 hour program of music from our favorite artists, including Sinatra… and Elvis in full costume! Tickets sales will begin tomorrow morning between 9:30-11:00, and only 100 tickets will be sold.

From Don Antonelli: Mega 50/50 raffle tickets at $5 each will continue to be sold tomorrow morning in the clubhouse from 9:30-11:00. Also, save the date for Night at the Races, to be held on November 12th. There will be more details to follow regarding dates of ticket sales.
