Hello Lions Head South… Here are your messages for this week… Please note that due to the holiday tomorrow, garbage collection will be delayed by one day.

From Dee Kropniewicki: Travel wishes to announce that the trip to the Resorts Casino on September 30th is all set. Tickets are still available. Also, the cruise to Greece and Italy in September 2023 has had a tremendous response. For information on either trip, please contact Dee.

From Bill Hamady: Bocce playoffs with Lions Head North will take place on Wednesday, September 7th at 5:30pm on our courts and Thursday, September 8th at 6PM at Lions Head North’s courts. If a third game is needed, it will be played on Friday, September 9th on our courts at 6PM.

From Don Antonelli: Mega 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold Tuesday morning in the clubhouse from 9:30-11:00. Tickets are $5 each with a potential first prize of $2000. Also, if anyone would like tickets for the September 7th Blue Claws game Wednesday night on the party deck, please contact Joe Bill. And last, there will be a Men’s Club meeting on Wednesday at 11:30. Lunch will be served.

From Clara Ciuffo-Clarke: The Women’s Club will be taking orders and prepayments in the clubhouse for our beautiful mums each Monday and Saturday morning until September 12th. The cost is $7 per plant. Please get your order in soon.

From Roberta Marvel: The Social Committee has scheduled a Lions Head South Night Club event, to be held on October 22nd. Included in the $38 ticket will be a full buffet dinner and a 3 hour program of music from our favorite artists, including Sinatra and Elvis… in full costume! Tickets sales will begin on September 19th and only 100 tickets will be sold.
