Hello Lions Head South… Please listen to the following two special announcements…

First, please be advised that the Townwide Garage Sale date has been moved from this Saturday,

September 7th to Sunday, September 8th , due to the inclement weather forecasted for Saturday.

Second, regarding the signage at our pool…

The blue and white sign to the right of the pool gate is required to be posted in order to comply with the eleven (11) NJ State Sanitary Codes which are enforced by the Ocean County Health Department.

However, Lions Head South can implement stricter rules than the Code requires, per the Ocean County Health Department.

Therefore, the Lions Head South Pool Rules regarding diapers and service dogs is as follows:

-Children under the age of 2 are not allowed at the pool at any time.

-Diapers are not allowed to be worn by anyone of any age in the pool.

-No animals, except for service animals, shall be allowed in the swimming pool area.

A new sign reflecting the Lions Head South Pool Rules will be posted for the 2025 season.

We hope this clears up any confusion. The current pool rules can be found in the September issue of the Lions Pride or on our website or

on the bulletin board outside of the office door or on the TV in the

library or at the sign-in table at the pool.
