WEEK OF 1/17/22 -- ROBOCALL
From the Board of Trustees: In an ongoing effort to consider the health and safety of the community, the Board of Trustees has decided to keep the clubhouse closed for the remaining part of the month, through January 31st. In reviewing information from the medical experts, we should expect to see a decline in the number of people infected toward the end of the month. Hopefully this will happen and we might be able to start to open things up again. The safety and health of the community will be our primary concern as we evaluate next steps.
Also from the Board of Trustees: On a brighter note, the Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring a FREE COVID testing site for LHS residents. This will take place on Tuesday, January 25th from 9 am until 1 pm in the LHS parking lot. It will be a drive-thru event, with testing being conducted in your car.
You will need to bring the following information:
- a picture ID
- your current Medicare or insurance card
- a list of your medications
Paperwork will be completed in your car and technicians will be available to answer your questions. A FaceTime call with a doctor will also take place with the assistance of the technicians.
Please be prepared to wait. Dress appropriately for the weather. If this event is successful we plan to offer an additional testing date in February.
Remember that tomorrow is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and therefore, garbage and recycle collections will be delayed by one day.
