From the Architectural Committee: Please be mindful prior to any removal and/or replanting of trees. An architectural application is required. Brick Township has also implemented a protocol with permit requirements for removal and replacement. Fines will be issued by both the Association and the Township if compliance is not met.

From Clara Ciuffo: The Lions Head South Women’s Club will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, August 18th at 12 Noon in the Lions Den. Please bring your own lunch and beverage. Coffee and tea will be supplied. Feel free to stay and socialize or bring a game to play while enjoying a cool afternoon with other lovely ladies. And don’t forget that mums will continue to be sold tomorrow morning in the clubhouse.

From Peter Brennan: Attention bowlers: The Lions Head Fun Bowling League is having a meeting in the Lions Den on Friday, August 20th at 10AM. A good turnout is expected so if you can’t be there, let Peter know.

From Ceil Reinhardt: Women’s indoor shuffleboard will begin on Friday, August 27th. Several positions are open for new players. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the clubhouse. Beginners are welcome.

From the Recreation Committee: For those going to the August 29th pool party: It would be appreciated if your name is in the beginning third of the alphabet, please wear a red hat or shirt. If your name is in the middle third, wear white, and if your name is in the last third, wear blue. Also, the last day for signing up for the pool party will be Sunday, August 23rd.

From Debbie Holzherr: Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning in the clubhouse for the “See You In September” dinner-dance on Friday, September 17th, with entertainment by “Let’s Be Frank”. There will be a hot buffet of Italian favorites, plus dessert, coffee and tea. Tickets are $25. Please pay by check only, payable to Lions Head South Homeowners Association. You may call Debbie at 908-339-1053 if you have any questions.

From Don Antonelli: The Men’s Club will be selling Mega 50/50 raffle tickets inside the clubhouse tomorrow morning from 9:30 until 11:00. Tickets are $5 each. Tickets will also be sold for the Bagels and Bingo event to be held on Tuesday, September 21st. The cost per ticket is $10. Doors will open for the event at 9:30am.
