From the Board of Trustees: The Clubhouse parking lot is scheduled to be repaired and seal coated, weather permitting, on October 12th or 13th. Cones will be placed around the area. You may contact the office at 732-920-9099, with any questions or concerns about the scheduling.
The WGA will be selling Bingo tickets tomorrow evening at the Residents' Meeting, and on Tuesday, October 12th in the Clubhouse, from 9:30 until 11:00 am, and again on Saturday, October 16th in the Clubhouse, from 10:30 until 11:30 am. The Bingo event will be held on Friday, November 5th at 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $10.00 each and include one free Bingo board and refreshments, water, soda, coffee and tea will be available at no additional cost.
From Lucy Hubert: The movie, "Black or White", starring Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer, will be shown on Sunday, October 17th at 2:00 pm in the Lion's Den. The film concerns a Black grandmother and a White grandfather who battle for custody of their interracial granddaughter. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to show time, and don't forget to bring a sweater.
From Debbie Holzherr: There is a sign up sheet on the Social Committee bulletin board in the Clubhouse for those wishing to participate in the Christmas Parade, scheduled for December 4th or 5th, weather permitting. Residents need to decorate their vehicles and arrive to line up at the Clubhouse by 4:30 pm. The parade will begin at 5:00 pm.
There are 3 messages from Don Antonelli. First, the Mens Club will be selling Mega 50/50 raffle tickets in the Clubhouse on Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 am. Tickets are $5.00 each with a potential first prize of $2,000!
Second, the signups will continue for our annual Holiday Party at the American Legion on December 7th. Men's Club members are free; all other guests are $50.00 ticket price, which includes a four entree buffet dinner with salad rolls, unlimited soda, beer, wine, dessert and live music.
Third, tickets for Night at the Races go on sale October 18th. Tickets are $35.00 each with an all you can eat beef steak dinner.
Remember, there is a Resident's Meeting tomorrow night in the Lion's Den at 7:00 pm. Also, due to the Columbus Day holiday, garbage will be picked up on Wednesday and recycling will be picked up on Thursday this week.
