TO ALL RESIDENTS OF LIONS HEAD SOUTH. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTE OF 5/2/20 FROM YOUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
As I sit here the weather outside my window is just great. Summer is here and hopefully things will start to get back to normal sooner than later.
I would like to thank Debbie Holtzer for organizing an outdoor line dancing session in the parking lot. I hear it wasn't jam packed with residents but those that were there were able to see and talk to neighbors that they haven't seen in months. KUDO'S DEBBIE. With no formal activities there is little to report as of this time.
For those of you that walk your dogs, be sure to pick up after them and do not leave bags of poo in the receptacles outside of the clubhouse doors. Somebody has been using them as personal garbage cans. Your maintenance personnel are not paid to clean up after your pets and the receptacles are not cleaned daily so the odor is offensive.
Also, I have noticed a lot of "trash" or litter strewn around the common grounds. Please bring your trash home and dispose of it properly. There is no reason for wine bottles and beer cans to be piling up along side of our streets. Be mindful of your neighbors and our community and keep our community pristine.
The Garden Club is working hard to keep on top of the plantings (thanks to Claire and her team of green thumbs) and garbage thrown about just defeats the work they do. So be aware and clean up after yourselves. You wouldn't do it at home, so don't do it here!
I need to remind everyone that your Board of Trustees are still here and normal operations in this community will continue as before, just without face-to-face meetings. I encourage committee chairpersons to figure out ways to have your meetings. As things improve, and restrictions are lifted the pool and other recreational facilities, including the club-house, will open following guidelines set by the State and not before. I will not jeopardize anyone's health just to satisfy a few. So, stay save and stay aware.
