I am a current Trustee for Lions Head South and have been on the Board for 4 years. During that time, I have served in the capacity of President, Vice-President, and Secretary. Currently I am the liason to both the Architectural and Website Committees. This past year, I have been responsible for coordinating the updating of our By-Laws, Rules and Regulations and Architectural Guidelines. Since moving here in 2007, I have also been Chairperson of the Community Awareness Committee and served as President of the Singles Club for 7 years.

Originally from Clifton, I have been visiting the Jersey Shore since I was 7 and eventually moved to Ocean County in 1972. So, even though I have lived here most of my life, I am still considered a "Bennie".

Career wise, I was a fifth-grade elementary school teacher, I worked in Human Resources and advanced to a Regional Human Resource Director for PATHMARK Supermarkets, I owned my own recruitment company and for the last 17 years of my career, I worked for a non-profit Tissue Bank. I have always felt comfortable in trying new things and have not been afraid to ignore the mentality of "that’s the way we always did it". To move ahead, we need to move away from this hindrance.

With the 40th Anniversary celebration, the Trustees vision was to look toward the next 40 years. It would be my goal to continue this vision by improving our facilities, our computer systems and the services and activities available to the Community. As I see re-election, I hope that you will support me in this goal for the future.
