From Carol Powell: Articles for the November issue of the Lions Pride are due to the Pride’s email address by Wednesday, October 4th.
From Bob Pedersen: The time for the Men’s Club Bagels and Bingo was submitted in error. Please be advised that doors will open on Saturday morning, October 14th at 9:30 and bingo will start at 10:30. Tickets for the event at $10 each will be sold tomorrow morning, as well as tickets for the 2023 Mega 50/50 raffle. Also from Bob, there will be a Men’s Club meeting this Wednesday, October 4th at 11:30, followed by lunch.
From Lee Bruzaitis: Tickets at $10 each will be sold tomorrow morning for the Social Committee’s Halloween party on Saturday, October 28th at 7PM. Get more details on the website or in the Pride.
From Phil DeCarlo: A reminder that the golf course will be closed on October 9th and 10th for fall maintenance. Beginning October 11th, and through the fall and winter months, the course will open at 9am.
From Marcene Talty: The WGA will hold a gift card auction during the Brian Halm Tournament luncheon on October 7th. You do not have to be present to win. Advance ticket sales and prize selection is available on Friday, October 6th from 4-7pm in the Lions Den. All are welcome to attend and participate.
From Pat Gail: The WGA will be hosting “Pink Day” on Saturday, October 21st at 9am. The donation for this event is $15, and includes a light breakfast and lunch. You may golf or walk. All proceeds benefit Mary’s Place by the Sea. Completed registration forms and checks are due no later than October 16th.
From Lynn Adams: The Recreation Committee is thinking about hosting an indoor Game Night Clinic on Tuesday, November 28th at 6:30pm in the Lions Den. Please sign up on the recreation bulletin board in the clubhouse by October 31st.
