ROBOCALL - 11/12/23
Hello Lions Head South… Here are your messages for this week. Please note that ticket sales are from 9:30 – 11;00 tomorrow morning in the clubhouse. Please check the website and the bulletin boards in the clubhouse for additional details on any event.
From Bob Pedersen: A reminder to reserve your place tomorrow morning for the Men’s Club Holiday Party to be held at the American Legion Post in Toms River on December 5th. Also, tickets will be sold tomorrow morning for the 2023 Mega 50/50 raffle.
From Dee Kropiewnicki: The Travel Committee will be collecting a $100 deposit for the 2024 Hawaii cruise tomorrow and on Monday mornings through November 27th. Please make checks payable to AAA. Upon sign-up and deposit, we will need your name, address, telephone number and email address, as well as your choice of cabin. If you cannot make it to the clubhouse, please call Dee at her number in the directory.
From Marie Castellano: The Women’s Club will be selling tickets for their Holiday Luncheon at the meeting on Wednesday. Tickets are $40 and checks can be made payable to LHS Women’s Club/ACC. Guests are welcome. Tickets will also be sold in the clubhouse on Monday mornings from November 20th through December 4th.
From Lynn Adams: The Recreation Committee is pleased to announce that our Indoor Game Fun Night scheduled for Tuesday, November 28th at 6:30 in the Lions Den is a go. A reminder that this is a BYOB event that will include dessert, coffee and tea. Also, the Recreation Committee, in conjunction with the Buildings and Grounds Committee, is taking a poll to find out the number of residents who own kayaks and would like to store them in the RV lot. This is just a poll. There are no guarantees that racks will be purchased. Please sign-up on the interest sheet on the Recreation bulletin board in the clubhouse by November 30th.
From Lucy Hubert: The movie, “Ladies in Lavender”, starring Dame Judy Dench and Maggie Smith, will be shown on Sunday, November 19th at 2PM in the Lions Den.
Thank you for listening, everyone. Please note that there will not be an ACC meeting tomorrow night, as these meetings will only be scheduled as needed… and as always, have a very pleasant evening.
