ROBOCALL - JULY 30, 2023

Hello Lions Head South… Here are your messages for this week… Please note that all ticket sales are from 9:30-11:00 tomorrow morning in the clubhouse...

From the Board of Trustees: In order for the construction on the new pool to begin on schedule, it will be necessary to close the pool to residents on Sunday, August 20th, with the exception of the final Aquafit class, which will be held on Monday the 21st. Closing the pool on the 20th will allow our maintenance men to begin the process of removing furniture from the pool area and will subsequently give the contractors enough time to complete their work by May of next year. Thank you for your understanding as we look forward to the opening of our new state of the art pool.

From Lynn Adams: In accordance with the pool closing message you just heard, please be advised that the Sunday Funday Wild West themed event which was originally planned at the pool on August 27th will now be held indoors in the Lions Den from 12:30 to 5:00 pm with a Farewell Pool tribute. Your $5 cash only ticket for this BYOB event will include a lunch consisting of hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, chips, water, DJ Louie and a 50/50 raffle. In addition, the Men’s Club will be providing ice cream.

From Marcene Talty: The LHCC will present a comedy show starring Chris Monty, a well known comedian to this community, on Saturday, Aug. 26th. Doors will open at 6pm and the show will begin at 7pm. Tickets are $25 per person and will be sold beginning tomorrow morning. All are welcome to attend this BYOB event. Refreshments, snacks, coffee, tea and water will be served. (Repeat 3 more weeks)

From Bob Pedersen: Tickets will be sold tomorrow morning for the Blue Claws event to be held on August 18th. The $40 ticket includes a buffet dinner and reserve seating on the third base party deck, with fireworks if weather permits. Also, tickets at $5 each will continue to be sold for the 2023 Mega 50/50 Raffle.

From Phil DeCarlo: The Lions Head Country Club will hold its monthly Scramble on Tuesday, August 8th. Tee off time is 8:30 am. Please sign up at the Clubhouse before Sunday, August 3rd.

From the Lions Pride: Articles for the September edition of the Pride are due by Friday, August 4th.

From Margaret DeFillipo: A reminder from the Architectural Committee that no work shall commence on your home until your Architectural Application is approved and you pick up your permit to display in your front window.

From Dee Kropiewnicki: Interest sheets are posted on the bulletin board for suggested 2024 trips. Please sign up for the trip of your choice soon, as a decision will be made by August 4th. Also, there is an interest sheet posted for an Atlantic City trip to the Tropicana on October 26th. The $98 ticket includes transportation, a musical tribute show to Neil Diamond and a $25 slot play return. Dining is on your own. Also, a reminder that Zumba will be held tomorrow at 11am.

From Tia Katakozinos: The Security Committee wishes to remind residents that Brick Police Department representatives will be our guest speakers at the August 14th residents meeting at 7pm. Residents may submit questions in writing to our office for these representatives to answer. The deadline to submit your questions is Wednesday, August 9th.

From Deb Rodgers: The Community Awareness Committee, in conjunction with the Board of Trustees, wishes to announce the approval for residents to participate in the September 9th Townwide Yard Sale from 8am-2pm. Any resident who wants to participate must register with the Township Clerk’s office by Wednesday, September 6, 2023. The cost is $5 per home.
