WGA News - Mary's Place By The Sea

On December 4, 2023, the Women's Golf Association of Lions Head Country Club presented Mary's Place By The Sea with a check in the amount of $3,800.00 together with 25 beautiful lap blankets that were handmade by the ladies of the Knitting Group in Lions Head South speared headed by Lucy Hubert. 

The monies presented to Mary's Place was obtained through WGA by various fund raising events, and a walk for Mary's Place held in October.  This event was co-chaired by Iris Mahoney, Treasurer of the WGA, and Pat Gail member of the WGA.  Pictured are Marcene Talty, VP,  Susan Wiss, President , Pat Gail of the WGA and Michele Gannon, CEO of Mary's Place By the Sea.  Thank you to all who participated in this very worthwhile cause, We look forward to next year's events.
